We’re bringing the Gorseinon 10K and 2K back to the streets — and we want local residents to know exactly what to expect.
Why roads close
A safe course,
for everyone
Around 900 runners are expected to take part in the BRISCO Gorseinon 10K and 2K. A closed-road course is essential to help everyone take on the route safely.
We know road closures can interrupt your usual Sunday plans. Thank you for your patience while our marshals reopen each section as soon as it is safe to do so.

If you need to leave Gorseinon during the closure period, please plan your journey in advance and use routes through Loughor where possible. Follow local signs and marshal directions, and avoid the roads listed above until they reopen.

The Race Village at Penyrheol Leisure Centre is open to runners, families, spectators and the whole local community.
Come along, cheer from a safe spot and share the atmosphere as the race returns to Gorseinon’s streets.
