to be a runner
The Brisco Gorseinon 10K is a brilliant community event, and we rely on a dedicated team of volunteers — our amazing Race Makers — to help bring the day to life.
Volunteering is a great way to be involved, meet new people, and support a fantastic local event that brings together hundreds of runners, families, and supporters. Whether you're cheering runners on at the finish line, helping with registration, guiding participants along the course, or handing out water at the aid stations — your support truly makes a difference.
We welcome individuals, families, community groups, sports clubs, schools, and local businesses to get involved. You don't need any special skills or experience — just a positive attitude, plenty of enthusiasm, and a smile. We'll provide you with all the information and training you need ahead of the event, along with a volunteer t-shirt and refreshments on race day.
By becoming a Race Maker, you'll help ensure every runner has the best possible experience as they take on the 10K challenge. Whether you're with us for a few hours or the whole morning, your time and energy are hugely appreciated.
